I shot this in June 2025 on a trip with my mom in Italy. While in Cinque Terre (and through out the entire trip), I really noticed being a "tourist." We were on a tour bus going around Italy and were accompanied by a tour guide for almost the entire trip (my Mom and I had only been out of the country once before so this was best for us). I'm not romanticizing or demonizing tourism. I wanted to just capture the idea. This video was filmed by a tourist capturing other tourists and invites the viewer to be a tourist as well.

Here is a collage I made picturing a hare and buck in the mist of a winter scape, however, their journey is about to come to a gruesome end. I wanted my piece to feel like a glimpse into a nightmarish storybook. The hare and the buck are both prey animals and would normally never harm each other, however here, fear overcomes friendship. For this piece, I was heavily inspired by Bambi and “To Catch Your Heart” by Tanya Mayers.
