I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I'm currently studying at the University of Florida. My artistic journey began with my dad. He and I bonded over watching cartoons together; being born in 1952, he had a lot to catch me up on. He taught me to draw and how to be a good human. I continued to draw every day, filling up mountains of sketchbooks in my childhood closet. This led me to theatre in high school. I then went to school for Computer Engineering, and while I loved the engineering mindset, I felt like I was missing my true artistic passion. In freshman year, I joined a Haunted House Engineering Design Team, and I knew I had to switch things up. Ever since then, I've been committed to scenic production throughout college. I can't say I wish I knew what I wanted from the start; without all the twists and turns, I wouldn't be who I am now. I can find the beauty in almost anything and know that life is extra special with surprises. I can't wait to show you my passions and skills through this portfolio. Thanks for being here!
